INDIAN EMBROIDERIES WITH APPEALING BEAUTY

For years, Indian embroideries are representing the Indian culture. They are of different kinds and are used in different products like bags, shoes, apparel, pillow cover, bedsheet, accessories, jewellery, etc. and that is why they are famous all over the world and people from all walks of life appreciate these embroideries. Indian embroideries are basically done on Indian dresses which make the dress look more beautiful. Every Indian woman loves to wear Embroidered Dresses. For occasions, women choose dresses with embroideries like Phulkari, Kantha Work, Lucknow chikankari and many more. Earlier embroideries were done with hands but now, with the change of time it has been done with the help of machines also.

There are some of the Embroideries which has been explained below:

1.  RELIGIOUS EMBROIDERY
   Religious embroidery has its own importance in India because India is a country where you can see numbers of religion. On an auspicious day or religious occasions, people wear dresses with religious embroidery. Religious embroidery is also done on bags, paintings, jewellery, etc.




2.  APPLIQUE EMBROIDERY
   It's highly popular kind of embroidery and the technique of this     embroidery is quite unique. Pieces of various fabrics are sewn on to the base fabric to make beautiful designs. It is done on clothing, curtains, wall paintings, bags, etc.




3.  CHIKANKARI EMBROIDERY
    It is one of the most famous embroideries in India. It is basically done by hands and flat stitch, embossed stitch and jali work are its different stitches which are used to create different designs and patterns on different fabrics. Fabrics like cotton, pure georgette, faux georgette, silk and tussar are used for the embroidery. Chikankari of Lucknow has soon spelt its magic after the origin. It is done very delicately and it is time-consuming also.



4.  BEADED EMBROIDERY

    It is the most like form of embroidery. It is preferred on the other forms of embroideries as it enhances the beauty of other embroideries. Beaded apparels look quite glamorous and classy. Glass beads, wooden beads, metallic beads and plastic beads are used in beaded embroidery. Apart from dresses it is also done on bags, jewellery, cushions, accessories, etc.
